Vice President
We are looking for an exceptional individual to be responsible for specific property investments including acquisition underwriting, negotiation of transactional and operational documentation; assisting in negotiation of financing documentation; investment administration; asset management and disposition of those investments. Extensive travel may be required.
Representative Responsibilities
- Identify potential investments by working with appropriate internal resources, brokers, developers, attorneys, title companies and other industry contacts.
- Prepare and analyze business plans, internal budgets and life-of-the-deal cash flow forecasts. Proactively administer the plan.
- Conduct feasibility analyses in evaluating new and existing investments, including various aspects of physical, legal, environmental and market due diligence and market and sub-market analyses.
- Prepare and present investment analyses and recommendation packages.
- Assist in the negotiation and closing of legal documentation with third party developers, general contractors, brokerage, leasing and property management firms.
- Assist in the negotiation and closing of loan documentation.
- Supervise outside architectural, engineering and consulting firms, review plans, specifications, monthly construction progress inspections and other ongoing evaluation of investments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in real estate, finance or other directly related area.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressively more substantial experience in the domestic commercial real estate industry with primary emphasis in accomplishing acquisitions, rehabilitations, dispositions and financing related to real estate transactions.
- Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to manage and meet reporting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Windows environment, including but not limited to Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong motivation; and demonstrated ability to multi-task and to work both independently and as part of a team.
