Nita G. Cahn

Director of Human Resources

Nita G. Cahn is the Director of Human Resources for Amstar, responsible for all aspects of the human resources function, including developing human resource policy and strategy. Ms. Cahn has more than fifteen years of human resource consulting experience. She holds the professional designations of Senior and Global Professional in Human Resources (SPHR and GPHR) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).

Prior to joining Amstar in 2000, Ms. Cahn was with Sun Microsystems in Louisville, Colorado, where she worked in a variety of human resource functions, most recently as Human Resource Development Consultant, responsible for recommending and implementing integrated human resource initiatives and solutions.

Ms. Cahn is a board member of the Boulder Area Human Resource Association (BAHRA) and a member of the Society for Human Resource Development (SHRM), the Colorado Human Resource Association (CHRA), WorldatWork, and the Rocky Mountain Compensation Association (RMCA).

In addition to a holding a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources, Ms. Cahn has a B.A. in Latin American Studies from the City University of New York, and an M.A. in Counseling from the University of Colorado.
