Executive Director
Robert A Toomey, Jr., Executive Director, has been employed by Amstar since 1997. He is responsible for all aspects of Amstar’s Mid-Atlantic and Southeast office and industrial investments, including sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, transactional and joint venture structuring, asset management, and dispositions. Rob also leads the Company's domestic fundraising activities. Rob currently serves on the Company’s Executive and Investment Committees.
Throughout his tenure with Amstar, Rob has also held various positions within Amstar’s multifamily and resort development divisions. Rob started his career at Resort Capital Partners, a real estate development company established in 1995 to develop luxury properties located in resort communities within the U.S. Rocky Mountains.
Rob received a B.A. in History from Bates College, Lewiston, ME. Among other professional affiliations, Rob is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association ("PREA"), the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate ("AFIRE") and is an alumni board member of St. Andrew's School, Middletown, DE.
