Henry Morris Joins Amstar as Director

Denver, CO  (August 25, 2014)  –  Amstar announced the  hiring of Henry Morris as director in  its  London office.    Morris  will  be  primarily  focused  on  sourcing  acquisition  and  development  opportunities  in Central and Eastern Europe and will also play a significant role in the firm’s European capital raising and asset management activities.  

Most recently, Morris was a director at Europa Capital, a London-based real estate fund manager focused on European value-add opportunities.  During his eight years at Europa, Mr. Morris was involved in $700 million of transactions ranging from ground-up developments  to acquisitions  in Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Germany. He also served as head of acquisitions for Europa Capital’s Emerging  Europe  Fund.   Prior  to  Europa  Capital,  Morris  advised  on  $670  million  of  transactions  for institutional clients with Savills in London and served  as vice president at Grubb and Ellis Company in San Francisco.

Mr. Morris graduated from the University of Reading with a first class degree in Property Investment and Finance. He  serves  on the board of the Reading Real Estate Foundation and is a member  of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
