Amstar Sells Northside at McEwen, a 45-acre land parcel located in Franklin, TN

Denver, CO (January 6, 2016) – Amstar announced today the sale of Northside at McEwen, a 45-acre land parcel located in Franklin, Tennessee. The buyer and sale price were not disclosed. Jim Hamilton and Richard Reid of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, LP represented the seller in this transaction.

Northside at McEwen is the last developable parcel within the 90-acre McEwen master planned community, which Amstar previously owned and constructed in partnership with Southern Land Company. The master planned community features a Whole Foods Market anchored shopping center, two class “A” apartments totaling 370 units as well as a 175,000 square foot office building. Northside at McEwen has entitlements for additional mixed-use development consisting of commercial, residential and hotel units. The site is one-half mile west of Interstate 65, which provides easy access to all points in metro Nashville.

“It has been a very rewarding experience developing the McEwen master planned community and witnessing its transformative impact on Franklin,” said Amstar Chief Operating Officer Doug Wiley. “It’s a great piece of dirt. We are excited to see the buyer complete this development and bring to fruition our original vision for this overall site.”
